Jayanagar is celebrated for its lush greenery, wide boulevards, and stately multi-storey apartments across Blocks 1 through 9. However, the high density of trees and architectural utility lightwells makes Jayanagar buildings prime targets for feral pigeon colonies. Pigeons roost in vertical duct shafts, filling them with feathers, nesting twigs, and droppings that block drainage lines and release foul odors into bathrooms and kitchens. Professional duct area netting provides a permanent fix.
Understanding the Core Need for Bird Netting in Jayanagar
Vertical plumbing shafts in older and modern Jayanagar buildings are dark, warm, and shielded from predators. Over months, accumulated droppings turn into breeding grounds for bird mites, ticks, and respiratory bacteria. Cleaning these narrow shafts manually is dangerous and costly. Installing heavy-gauge duct area netting across the top and side openings permanently seals the shaft.
